Govt V HSS , Njekkad week - 1 ( 14th June - 16th June )
Today we reached the school on time and signed our attendance register with the presence of our HM . Then we go back to our allotted class to sit . Then I began to prepare for taking classes . Today I have to take class on last hour . Teacher gave us free hours to attend. We attend our allotted class with positive mind .
Today we reached our school on time . We signed our attendance register with the presence of our HM . Then we go back to our allotted class to sit. I started revicing the lesson plan , that has to be taken for my class . After 3rd hour , I went to staffroom to meet my concern teacher Deepa ma'am for getting sign in my lesson plan for taking class on 9.G . Today also I had to attend 7th hour for them . Teacher provided me with the new timetable schedule , that has to be follow on Monday onwards .
Day -1 , 14th June 2023 , Wednesday
As a part of BEd Curriculum, our 4th Sem 30 day teaching practice programme started on 14th June 2023 and we , a team of 15 were allotted Govt V HSS, Njekkad school. Me , Vidhya, Silpa , Anagha , Fathima , Praveena , Athipa , Deepthi , Soubhagya, Archana , Sruthi , Sneha , Remya , Geethu and Anju were there with me . We went to school on 8th June Thursday, to collect portions and timetable. I , along with the members of the team was whole heartedly welcomed by the school members. We initially went to Headmaster's room and signed in as per the instruction from our college. Right after the prayer , we went to our destined classroom.
I was advised to attend class 9.G . Today I have class on 7th hour . I didn't take any classes on my first day . I had introduces my self and students also introduced to me. Firstly, I take permission from my concern teacher Deepa ma'am for entering the class . Ma'am support me very positively.
We went to serve food in the Noon feeding session . The food was served well. After having lunch we all signed our attendance register. The day ended well . All the members had their own experiences and that gave us more strength to prepare for the following days. It was truly a day of experiment and understanding the young learners.
Day 2 , 15th June 2023 , Thursday
On afternoon we went to serve food to our students . After serving food for students, we went to have our lunch and then signed our attendance register. After that we again began to revice our portion . I took sign from my concern teacher Deepa ma'am for taking classes for my students. Then on seventh period after the break I entered into my class . They welcomed me with a warm wish . Then I started to create a rapport between students and then given entry activity for them . Students are very active and they taken down the profile of authors into their notes . Today I can set a positive mindset in my class with my students . I can follow my lesson plan very well and got a very positive start to my teaching training. We leave the school after National Anthem .
Day -3 , 16th June , Friday 2023
On afternoon session we went to serve food for our students. Then after finishing serving , we went to each lunch . Then we all go to HM's room for signing the attendance register. In 7th hour I entered into my class . Students welcomed me with a warm wish . At that very moment my mind filled with full of positive thoughts. This helps me to take the class very effectively for my students . By giving entry activity for them , it makes them more engaging through out the class . Scaffolding questions had created a great impact and my students answered each questions very clearly . Some students in class want to improve the reading skills . Totally today the class was very active and students also very active through out my class . After the National Anthem at 3:45 pm we left the school campus .
